STORYTELLING: Lost Phone
One of my favorite classes was video storytelling where once again I was intimated by the Premiere Pro software. Weekly assignments given by professor Ralph Budd further help developed my video editing skills from audio synced sound to creating a Ken Burns feel with slow move and dissolves in still shot photography. With all the different techniques taught throughout my first quarter, I was able to create a short story piece for my end-of-the-quarter project. The final project asked us to create a story based on the concept of a “lost phone” while incorporating an assigned song and a tagline from a famous cell phone campaign. The concept I came up with was inspired by a real-life mishap girl's trip gone wrong. Check out my work below.
